Bill Clayton became a PGA Class A Member in 1991, to his credibility Bill has 38 plus years of training and experience in the golf industry giving him an exceptional competitive edge of knowledge and expertise in all facets of golf operations with the ever expanding growth of the game. Bill toured as a caddie on the PGA Tour approximately 3 years, he owned and operated Mavericks Tee Time Golf Range for 5 years always with an ever continued strong passion and love of the game, due to an expansion of real estate explosion unfortunately the land being leased by Bill was sold. however with his passion for the game of golf he started working at Private, Semi Private and Public facilities throughout the upstate of South Carolina and Western North Carolina as an assistant PGA Professional as well as a Head PGA Professional. Bill has taken lessons from such greats and well renowned names as David Leadbetter, Davis Love III and Bob Toski, he is a native of Spartanburg, South Carolina. Bill started out playing on the golf team at Presbyterian College in Clinton,South Carolina at which time he developed a love and respect for golf which instilled in him a strong desire to help others especially juniors to learn and enjoy the challenges of the game, realizing golf could be an instrumental tool in teaching them the fundamentals of determination, focus and direction of life itself. From Bills early days to present when it comes to golf his passion is stronger than ever, he has never looked back always looking toward and moving forward with the game.
